The corneal myofibroblasts display platelet activator factor receptor on its surface. The platelet concentrate is one of the richest sources of essential growth factors, reducing bleeding, inflammation, scaring time, thus speeding up the closing of the ulcers. We report a case which provides evidence of clinical improvement with concentrate platelet eyedrops on a non responsive trophic corneal disease."}
