Graduated in Medicine and Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Fellowship in Retina and Vitreous at Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He is currently a Post-Graduate student at the Federal University of São Paulo and an Ophthalmologist in the Retinal and Vitreous Sector of the Brazilian Institute of Ophthalmology (IBOL, RJ).
