OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the surgical technique for excision of primary pterygium with fibrin glue, as the symptoms and epidemiological data. METHODS: Clinical prospective non-controlled and randomized study with 30 patients of the Hospital Universitário Lauro Wanderley, consistent with the term informed consent, approved by the Ethics in Research.
