The discoid lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disorder which generally affects the sun-exposed skin. Presentation of lesions on the eyelids in the absence of any other cutaneous abnormality is uncommon and the lower-eyelid involvement is seen in 6% of patients with cronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus.
