PURPOSE: To evaluate and to correlate the PNS (patient nuclear score) and time and energy (power US) in patients priorto and following phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation. METHODS: This is a prospective study. Twenty two consecutive patients (22 eyes) that underwent phacoemulsification surgery and intraocular lens implantation were enrolled.
