Graduated in Medicine by the Federal Faculty of Medical Sciences of Porto Alegre Foundation – FFFCMPA (1997), Specialist in Ophthalmology by the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre – ISCMPA (2000), Fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases by Wills Eye Hospital / Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA (2001) and PhD in Ophthalmology from the University of São Paulo – USP (2006). He is currently Coordinator of the Specialization Course, Head of the Ophthalmology Service and Director of the Cornea Bank of the Irmandade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre.
