Graduated in Medicine from Universidade Gama Filho (1985) and Master in Ophthalmology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996). He is currently an adjunct professor at Universidade Gama Filho. Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis on Ophthalmology, acting on the following subjects: cataract, phacoemulsification, ecobiometry, intraocular lenses, and refractive surgery.
