Graduated in Medicine at Severino Sombra University (1998). He performed Medical Residency in Ophthalmology at the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (1999-2001). He holds the title of Specialist Ophthalmology by the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (2002). Glaucoma Fellow at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo (2002-2003). Assistant Physician in the Department of Ophthalmology at Santa Casa de São Paulo since 2004, a place that works to the present day. Assistant Physician in the glaucoma section of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo since 2004 to the present date. He completed a Master’s Degree in Molecular Medicine at the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, with an emphasis on glaucoma, being approved after defending his thesis (2007). Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. Treasurer director of the Brazilian Society of Glaucoma in the administrations from 2011 to 2013 and from 2013 to 2015 and from 2017 to 2019. Vice-President of the Jacques Tupinabá Study Center linked to the Ophthalmology Department of Santa Casa de São Paulo in the 2012 administrations? 2014, 2014-2016 and 2016-2018. Head of the Glaucoma Sector at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo in 2018 to date. Treasurer Director of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (2015? 2017). General Secretary of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (2017 to 2019), Vice-President of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology in the management from 2020 to 2021. Elected member of the Consultative Council of the Brazilian Society of Glaucoma for the management from 2019 to 2021. Full member of the Panamerican Academy of Ophthalmology from 2007 to the present date. International member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 2009 to the present date.
