Graduated in Medicine from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), having completed Ophthalmology and a Master’s degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He completed a Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia – USA). He served as Professor of the Postgraduate Courses in Ophthalmology at Unigranrio, the Brazilian Society of Ophthalmology and COSC (RJ). He served as Coordinator of the Postgraduate Courses in Ophthalmology at Unigranrio and COSC (RJ). He is ECFMG certified and medically licensed in the USA.
