Graduated in Medicine from Fundacao Tecnico Educacional Souza Marques School of Medicine (1998). He is an ophthalmologist with the title of the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology issued in 2001. He has a specialization in Cornea and ocular surface diseases with fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital, in Philadelphia, United States. She holds a PhD in science from UNIFESP Escola Paulista de Medicina, where she defended a thesis based on simple ocular herpes and atopy. He works as an ophthalmologist at the Institute of Eye Diagnosis and Therapy (IDTO) in the subspecialty of cataracts, clinical cornea, contact lenses and external eye diseases. He is head of the Ophthalmology Service at Hospital São Vicente de Paulo, where he works in the area of ​​cataract surgery. She is the coordinator of the Latu-sense Post-Graduation Course in Ophthalmology at Universidade PUC-Rio.
