University professor since 1983 at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, where she made her academic career, starting as Teaching Assistant and finishing as Full Professor. He was head of the department for 2 terms. President of the Library Commission for 10 years. Member of the Research Ethics Committee for 10 years. Member of the Board of the Postgraduate Course in General Bases of Surgery. President of the Brazilian Society of Eye Plastic Surgery, Lacrimal Pathways and Orbit, a company affiliated to the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology. Member of the Editorial Board of the Revista Brasileira de Oftalmologia and of the Arquivos Brasileiros de Oftalmologia. Reviewer of several international journals in the field of Ophthalmology. Ad hoc advisor to FAPESP and CNPq. He was a Research Productivity Scholarship level 2 by CNPq in 2009/2013. She was Vice – Director of the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for organizing the Unit ‘s University Extension and Research activities in the years 2007/2011. She held the position of Director of the Faculty of Medicine and member of the University Council of UNESP in the period 2011/2015. He retired from his academic duties in 2015. Was he hired as a Senior Academic Consultant at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital? Riyahd, Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2018. She is currently an advisor professor for the Postgraduate Course in General Bases of Translational Surgery and Medicine and the Professional Master’s Course in Medicine, both from the Botucatu Medical School-UNESP. She works as a volunteer professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Botucatu Medical School – UNESP, participating in activities related to Ocular Plastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Pathways.
