The authors report a case of a 69 year-old woman who developed persistent vertical deviation and diplopia after extracapsular cataract surgery and had a positive past history of thyroid disease. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of five patients with chronic angle-closure glaucoma who underwent goniosynechialysis (GSL). PURPOSE: To evaluate long-term results of the secondary piggyback technique used for the correction of undesired ametropia after phacoemulsification.
