An intraocular infection is the most terrible complication after a trabeculectomy, usually with significant anatomical consequences and irreversible functional impairment. The case of a 40-year-old male patient with congenital glaucoma, submitted to a trabeculectomy on both eyes at the age of 13, is presented.
