Cogan’s syndrome is characterized by interstitial keratitis non-syphilis associated with vertigo, tinnitus and sensorineural hearing loss. We report a case that illustrates a model of multidisciplinary intervention in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Study conducted to report a case of Cogan Reese syndrome. Female patient, 55 years old with diagnosis of Cogan Reese syndrome. Best visual acuity of 0.67 in the right eye and 0.2 in the left eye. Ischemic ocular syndrome (IOS) is caused by stenosis of carotid artery. Proliferative retinopathy is one of the signs and can lead to misdiagnosis with diabetic retinopathy. IOS must be considered in case of proliferative retinopathy asymmetric and refractory to laser treatment. Carotid endarterectomy in patients with IOS with no neurologic manifestations remains controversy. This paper reported a patient with IOS simulating diabetic retinopathy and treated with endarterectomy.

Racemose Haemangioma (RH) is a congenital anomaly, characterized by retinal arteriovenous(AV) malformation. About 30% of patients have signs of central nervous system (CNS) involvement, which has been called the Wyburn-Mason syndrome.
