OBJECTIVE: To evaluate bioglass, bioglassceramic biocompatibility in rabbit’s eviscerated cavities. METHODS: Forty- five rabbits were submitted to right eye evisceration, followed by the inclusion of bioglass and bioglassceramic I e II prosthesis in the escleral cavity.
