The authors present a case of choroidal osteoma diagnosed in a 25-year-old female patient. A well-defined and slightly elevated yellow lesion located in the posterior pole of the right eye was suspected to be a tumor. Confirmation of diagnosis was obtained with A and B ecography. The patient had low vision and macular edema, which improved after intraocular injection of bevacizumab .

The authors describe two cases of fungal keratitis which, upon histopathological examination, are found to have in common the absence of epithelium, without ulceration and the lack of integrity of the Bowman’s layer with the presence of fungal forms in their interior. A female patient with juvenile glaucoma without clinical control underwent a trabeculectomy with mitomycin C, and developed eye hypotension which did not respond to conservative treatment, with subsequent hypotonic maculopathy. The patient was treated using a scleral patch provided by a donor above the fistula, which improved intraocular pressure and visual acuity. The authors report a case of oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy, an autosomal dominant genetic disease, which leads to miogenic ptosis. This patient presented bilateral palpebral ptosis and dysphagia and underwent ptosis surgical treatment, with a good functional and aesthetic result.
