Optic disc pit and macular microhole are two rare pathologies with an extremely low likelihood of coexistence, this paper will report an association of both pathologies in the same eye with the purpose of analyzing clinical manifestations, tests, angiography, OCT, retinography, biomocroscopy, treatment outcome and the connection between the optic disc pit and macular microhole.

We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of five patients with chronic angle-closure glaucoma who underwent goniosynechialysis (GSL). The patients presented a circumferential synechial angle-closure for less than or up to six months due to an acute primary angle-closure and a minimum six month follow up after GSL. Relatamos o caso de uma paciente que desenvolveu uveíte dois anos antes de firmado o diagnóstico de doenca de Crohn.

Pellucid marginal degeneration (PMD) is a rare corneal ectasia and its progression leads to irregular astigmatism and low vision that can not have spectacles or contact lens correction. This report describes a patient with low vision due to cataract and PMD that was treated with phacoemulsification and implantation of a toric intraocular lens with a satisfactory visual acuity outcome.
