The therapeutic impact is described with the combined use of two medications with different anti-corticosteroid actions in the clinical resolution of a patient with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy.

Descrevemos nesse artigo o impacto terapêutico do uso combinado de duas medicações anti-corticosteroides com diferentes mecanismos de ação, na resolução clínica de um paciente com coriorretinopatia serosa central crônica.

We report a case of primary bilateral mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma of the lacrimal sac. MALT lymphoma is a subtype of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma of the ocular adnexa. When the primary site of the lymphoma is the lacrimal sac, it mimics chronic dacryocystitis. This may delay diagnosis, with potentially lethal results.

Descrevemos um caso de um linfoma MALT bilateral, simétrico e primário de saco lacrimal. O linfoma MALT é um subtipo do Linfoma Não-Hodkin dos anexos oculares. Quando o local primário do linfoma é o saco lacrimal, ele pode simular uma dacriocistite crônica. Essa situação pode atrasar o diagnóstico e ter consequências fatais.

Objetivo: Avaliar o tempo de ruptura lacrimal não invasivo (NITBUT) e a altura do menisco lacrimal (TMH) após instilar os três tipos diferentes de colírio anestésico pelo Oculus Keratograph 5M. Métodos: Neste estudo prospectivo, 85 indivíduos saudáveis (85 olhos) foram divididos aleatoriamente em três grupos.
