The etiological diagnosis was established through microbiology and in vivo corneal confocal microscopy. ABSTRACT Eales’ disease is an idiopathic peripheral vascular occlusive disease characterized by inflammation, ischemia, and abnormal retinal vascularization. It primarily affects healthy young adults and typically manifests bilaterally. Diagnosis is mainly clinical; however, it requires exclusion of other systemic infections and ocular conditions. Recurrent vitreous hemorrhage is a hallmark of this condition. Early treatment significantly improves visual prognosis. Herein, we report a case series of patients diagnosed in Northeast Brazil.

ABSTRACT Congenital distichiasis is a rare condition, of controversial origin, with therapeutic options not always having favorable results. This is a case report of a seven-year-old male child with congenital distichiasis affecting all eyelids, with the presence of some distichiasis hair follicles despite surgical treatment using the interlamellar division technique, selective application of cryotherapy and electrolysis. The treatment of congenital distichiasis involves the need to combine techniques to achieve more effective results.

ABSTRACT This report described a case of a 56-year-old female patient with a history of pterygium excision and use of mitomycin C eye drops during the postoperative period who developed necrotizing infectious scleritis caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
